Job Description
Role:
– Manage complete QA and QC function at the Company
– Supervising the set-up of welding technology and processes based on the job at hand or using a Welding Procedure Specification.
– Prepare for and implement ISO certification
– Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine the specific welding requirements.
– Follow, create and help maintain Welding Procedure Specifications.
– Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities.
– Follow all safety rules and quality standards
– Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
– On site Inspection of welding related activities (Fit up, Welding parameters, Weld Visual )
– Implementing of New Welding processes and welding related development work.
– Preparing, Analyzing and Documentation of Weekly Welder Performance Analysis Reports.
– Approval and acceptance of welding equipment and consumables.
– Inspection & supervision of welding.
– Leading and manage the team with guidance, training and performance management
Requirements:
– Education: BE-Mechanical/Welding Technology + Certification in QA/ QC
– NDT certification and experience in WPS/ PQR (Welding related) is required
– 18-20 years of relevant hands on experience in QA/ QC in a Capital Equipment manufacturing Co.
– Should have experience in welding technology, hardfacing process, Quality control and assurance
– Should have experience in ISO Implementation
– Good Communication Skills
– Good analytical, interpersonal and leadership skills
